Please note that this listing is for a PDF knitting pattern and not the actual garment.

James is a captivatingly romantic pullover with just enough ease to make it comfy and wearable. It’s sharp enough to pair with dress pants for a more upscale occasion and comfortable enough to marry with a jean skirt for a fall picnic.

This pattern includes options for:

  • three quarter or long sleeves
  • two different yoke depths for a crisper fit or more relaxed fit
  • using two or four colors
  • optional pockets for candy and yarn (at least that’s what I carry around in there)
  • a straight or split hem

Pattern Notes

James is a top down, round yoke pullover with stripes and lace in the yoke and easy stockinette in the body. The optional pockets are shown with enchanting little stripes on the inside, and the sleeves and hem sport an extra little pop of color. The optional split hem includes short rows in the back for a longer, rounded hemline.

Sizes:

XS (S, M, L) [XL, 2XL]

Finished Bust Measurements: 34.75 (40.5, 46.25, 50.5) [53.25, 60.5]” / 88.5 (103, 117.5, 128.5) [135.5, 153.5] cm

Shown in size S on a 35” bust and worn with 5.5”/ 14 cm positive ease.

The pattern is written for the two-color option, and additional information for making it with four colors is included in parentheses. Also, because several options are given, the yardage is calculated for the most yarn you would need.
