You will need:
Nine DK weight scraps – 10g/25 yds/23 m each
16” US #4/3.5 mm circular needle for earflaps and brim
Extra US #4/3.5 mm DPNs or straight needles to hold earflap sts
US #5/3.75 mm needle for hat
4 or 5 DPNs US #5/3.75 mm for crown
