Please note that this listing is for a PDF knitting pattern and not a finished garment.

The Pearl Socks are both lacy and delicate, and cozy and snuggly. And they are so fun to knit! The mix of super easy lace down the front, reverse stockinette stitch in the leg and toe, and a hard-wearing slipped stitch heel make these socks a must for your sock drawer. Shown here with a contrasting cuff and toe, they could also be knit with just one skein of sock yarn, or you could also work the heel in a contrasting color!

This pattern is written to have the sts evenly divided on two needles. For this you could use Magic Loop, two 24-inch circulars, or, my personal favorite, three 16-inch circulars.

Knitting with three 16-inch circulars is accomplished very simply by holding half the sts on each of two needles and working the sts with the third needle; it’s similar to using DPNs with the benefit of the flexible cord.

If you prefer DPNs, I recommend keeping 32 sts on one DPN (Needle 1) and dividing the other 32 evenly with 16 on each of two DPNs for the back of the sock (Needle 2).

Gauge

32 sts/48 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch

Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.
