The Laetare Shawl is a medium sized shawl that’s a great way to use up scraps or beloved mini skeins!
Follow the directions with forty different 10g scraps/minis in fingering weight or knit the whole thing in one color – it’s completely up to you. The possibilities are endless!
Materials
Knitty McPurly Frankfurt Fingering in 10g minis – 40
OR an assortment of your favorite scraps in fingering weight yarn OR 400g of fingering weight yarn in one color
32-inch US #3/3.25 mm circular needle
A bunch of stitch markers
One unique stitch marker to mark the middle of the shawl (MoS)
Tapestry needle
Gauge
28 sts/44 rows = 4” in garter stitch
Gauge is not super important for this design! If you run out of one color, simply go on to the next color.
