Please note that this listing is for a PDF knitting pattern and not the actual shawl.

A year ago, I designed the Timothy Ridge shawl as a tribute to my grandma and her Depression era resourcefulness which led to her carpeting her house in a crocheted rag rug in all the colors. Since then, I have been planning another scrappy shawl project that’s in all my favorite colors (because it’s made from my scraps!) and fits around my neck like a hug, reminding me of all those other projects and people touched by this yarn already.

Pine Grove Ridge is a scrappy triangular shawl made from leftover fingering, sport and DK weight yarn and worked in garter stitch with simple increases worked on the wrong side, tipped with an asymmetrical lace speckled lightly with bobbles.

Colors alternate every two rows for a bit before switching to the next color to reduce the number of ends to weave in.
